Isn't it pretty? This is a rose made using the brand new Ornament punch from the new catalogue. This rose has been made using So Saffron card stock and sponging with Rose Red Ink. You then curl the ornaments around a pen or pencil to different degrees to made the petals. I found that sticky strip is a MUST for sticking these petals down. They will not stick with normal adhesive. This rose is going to be a topper on a gift i have for someone special.
This second rose is actually the first one i made and is a bit wonky... see we all learn from making things for the first time. I made this box on my weekend away. It is a Fancy Favour Box turned on its side with a smaller box inserted into it to slide out.I have used a colour scheme taken from one of the new gorgeous Designer Series Papers in the catalogue (Elegant Soiree) Crumb Cake, Baja Breeze, Soft Suede and Very Vanilla. I have used another one of my favourite products in the catalogue the Scallop Trim Border. I have also used the Vintage Vogue stamp set? Can you see where?
Stunning Christie, Have a lovely time away.
