I have used the Printed Petals stamp set for my tree with the Woodgrain Background stamped on Chocolate Chip card stock and hand cut for the trunk. The gorgeous little deer is from the Forest Friends set which is returning from one of our mini catalogues and is just gorgeous!
I have also used two new punches!!! I just love the punches in our new catalogue. I have used the new Scallop Trim border punch and the new Modern Label punch which is nicely layered with a greeting from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments cut out with the Word Window.
So that is my card for Fathers Day. Lots and lots of stamp sets and products on that one...
I now just have to find time this week to make one for my dad. I have one in mind so stay tuned.

The first is a card i made after convention with the new Party This Way stamp set along with a greeting from the Perfect Punches set, layered onto another one of the sizzlet tags. This is a card that i made for one of my uplines Joanna Wassens after she was placed as number 7 demonstrator of the yar for 2009-2010. Well done Jo!
The second card is one i made for a colour challenge on the weekend away. It uses Basic Black, Riding Hood Red and Very Vanilla. I have used the new Vintage Wallpaper textured impressions embossing folder with the Friends Never Fade stamp set. And the punch is my new favourite! It is the brand new Scallop Trim punch isn't it just gorgeous?

Here are a couple of pages i wanted to share with you. I really like to scrap the kids birthdays. We went to the Australian Museum on Tyson's birthday this year because it was raining so here is the page i made. It uses some Kiwi Kiss Designer Series Paper on Basic Grey card stock (i was trying to coordinate with his jumper). I coloured some Loads of Letters Chipboard in with my Basic Grey marker and made a punch art dinosaur with my punches for decoration.
The second page i did for his birthday was a Ben 10 page. Being 4 he is right into Ben 10 and got lots of Ben 10 things so i decided the birthday card i made was a perfect way to start off the page. The title was created using the Timeless Type Big Shot alphabet layered onto some black card stock. I have used the retiring Glorious Green as a base and stamped an background image from the Circle Circus set (i think this is a great set that i am really yet to explore).
Another thing i wanted to show you is the Dinosaur card my downline Suzy made for Tyson for his birthday. Isn't it great? Don't you just love all of the punching in there? Can you figure out what she has used?
On friday i will have some of the fruits of my weekend away to show as well as a sneak peak of the NEW catalogue. I will be having my launch this friday night. Feel free to contact me for some more details

This is a bit of a sneak peak with some old thrown in.
This is the birthday card i made for my husband last week. It uses the car from the Loads of Love stamp set (it also uses Loads of Fun which isn't available in Australia). I have stamped all of the images in Staz On Black ink and then used blender pens with various ink pads to give it a bit of colour.
I have used Soft Suede as the base with the Woodgrain background stamp which is new in the 2010-2011 Ideas Book and Catalogue.
Remember my launch is THIS FRIDAY so RSVP if you are coming!

This is the second card i made for my black themed stamp club last week. It uses the gorgeous Inspired by Nature stamp set. I have firstly sponged the background of the card with Old Olive, Garden Green, Always Artichoke, Pumpkin Pie and Tangerine Tango. I have then clear embossed the flower and then brayered over it using Basic Black ink.
I have layered the feature peice on to Basic Black and Tangerine Tango. I was really happy with how this card turned out. It was an idea i had in my head that actually came to fruition on paper.
I am super super excited today. Tonight i am off for my demonstrator only weekend away. It is a whole group of demonstrators going to Vision Valley for the weekend to do what we do best... that is create. I have got loads of things lined up to make so fingers crossed i can get through them!!!

I made this set when i came home from convention in May. It uses a Fresh Cut Note for the box (which i am happy to say are in the new catalogue) with a 5 Petal Flower Punch in the Background. I have then made little love notes using Lavendar Lace (retiring) cardstock and the En Francais Background with the new set Perfect Punches layered on to one of the tags from the Big Shot Lots of Tags sizzlets.
I couldn't show you this project earlier because the stamp set had not been released but now i can show you this sneak peek of the set Perfect Punches.
It is great and has lots of great greetings perfect for punching.
Why not take a look in your own copy of the catalogue which you can order from me for $10. Just contact me at Christies_stamps@yahoo.com.au

As a demonstrator i am lucky enough to be able to order new catalogue products before anyone else. I was able to order a new set called Contempo Christmas which features this fantastic Christmas Ornament. It fits perfectly inside the Movers and Shapers die and you can also layer both of them with the Ornament Punch that is in the 2010-2011 Ideas Book and Catalogue.
The other stamp i have used in this Pacific Point and Whisper White card is from the new set Perfect Punches.
If you would like to see more new catalogue product and even use some of it to make your own cards why not come to my 2010-2011 Ideas Book and Catalogue Launch on the 27th August from 7pm.
You will get complete a few make and takes, see lots of new products and a display of projects, plus browse my latest classes. There will also be a lucky door prize and one night only specials

The second card uses Versamare Resist with Not Quite Navy, Baja Breeze and Night of Navy.

After seeing Eclipse onthe 1st of July (i am a long time fan of the Twilight novels) this card popped into my head. A couple of days later when i made it even my husband was impressed. It was really simple and yet i am really happy with it. (I did find it hard taking a photo though as i havent been able to photograph during the day lately so will have to make do with this artificial light picture)
It fits perfectly with stamp club, because i like to teach them a new technique each time and with this card i got to teach them how to make the glossy paint which i have used to fill in the glasses.
I have stamped the En Francais stamp in the background and clear embossed it. The rest is simply some Styled Silver Hodgepodge hardware, a crystal brad and some Real Red Grosgrain Ribbon. I hope my stamp club enjoy making this card tonight.

Do you remember the Ahoy Matey stamp set and matching wheel? Well i knew i couldnt get rid of it having a little boy and boy was i glad about that because my son told me he wanted a Pirate Party this year.
He turned 4 yesterday and will be having his pirate party this coming weekend.
I had an idea pop into my head about and opening treasure box with a map inside, so i stamped the treasure box from the Ahoy Matey set and scanned it to increse it in size. I then made it into a what you see in the photo. I used the Faux Woodgrain technique to make the box look like it was made out of wood and a Build a Brad with gold card stock inside to help the box close.
Inside i have printed the invitation on Confetti Cream card stock which i have torn, sponged with Soft Suede and used the wheel over the top.
What do you think?

The first card is an easel card which features the beautiful Rose is a Rose stamp set. It uses Pink Passion and Green Galore.
The second card is a chalking card using the It's Beautiful Wheel. This card was originally inspired by a gorgeous card that demonstrator Lin Mei Yapp made a couple of years ago. This card also features the Think Happy Thoughts set and the Boho Blossoms punch. The base card was a choice of Orchid Opulence or Lovely Lilac.
The third card was a little window card using the Nursery Necessities stamp set with the colour scheme of Sage Shadow, Regal Rose and Pink Pirouette. The inside of the card was also decorated as you can see through the window.
The fourth card used Taken with Teal and Basic Black and the Starring You stamp set. I love this set and i will be sad to see it retire. We also used the small and large star punches. I really love this card.
Which one was your favourite?
These events are always lots of fun but they book out really quickly so if you are interested in coming you must RSVP as soon as we advertise to avoid dissapointment. We will let you know when we plan another one!

This is a card i made for a recent Card in a Box team day. I have been working on some Upsy Daisy cards lately as it is a great stamp to teach a number of different techniques and i am using it at my team training for that very reason.
This card was made using Stampin' Write Markers (Pumpkin Pie, So Saffron and Always Artichoke), which always give such a great look with this stamp. I have also tried something different in the background. I have sponged the En Francais background stamp in various places before stamping on to my card stock. This gives the background the rustic look that i wanted.
The greeting has been stamped on one of the Sizzlet Tags for the Big Shot available in our Autumn/Winter mini catalogue until the end of this month.
Stay tuned to see which other techniques i have tried lately with Upsy Daisy.

I have been busting to make a vintage card since convention. Shelli Gardner demonstrated the vintage style which previously i really didn't like but what she showed us some things i though "Hey, i could do that".
So i created this card featuring the Vintage Vogue stamp set (which is only available till the end of this month). I have used all the vintage tools in this one - sponging, distressing and colour spritzing. I have used a Kraft base, with Bashful Blue, Confetti Cream and then Soft Suede and Chocolate Chip inks.
I used the spiral punch to make it look like i had torn the feature piece from a note pad. I have also used a flower from my pretties kit that i have sponged with Soft Suede ink and stuck on with a Vintage Brad. I was really happy with the outcome. What do you think?

This is another of the bird cards that i taught at a recent Bird Punch class. This little bird is sitting in a nest. The nest was made using the wide and large oval punches with the ends of the branches from the 2-Step Bird Punch as the branches in the nest and the leaves filling the nest. I have found in creating lots of bird cards that there are lots of ways to do the eyes of the bird and these can have a real effect on the look of the bird. I have used a Black brad from the Vintage Brads as the eye of the bird in this card. I have also used a Build A Brad for decoration. I hope you have enjoyed my bird cards and i have inspired you to make some of your own
