Yesterday was our big day and it was a fabulous time for all. There were so many great prizes donated and so much food donated it was amazing. The day session was pretty busy but i think everyone managed to finish their cards, and the night session was lovely and relaxed.
Just from the day we raised over $4500 which surpassed my expectations. Alyssa was able to make it to the beginnings of both sessions so that people could meet her and her family (there is a little pic down below of her sharing in the evening too)
For those of you who couldnt come but have been following the story of Alyssa i thought i would share with you some photos from the day.

I have been having fun playing around with this set lately. I love the effect that direct application of ink onto the Square Lattice Embossing folder gives. Very Vintage don't you think?
This card has a top layer of acetate stamped in Staz On Black and i have then stamped the layer underneath with colour and watercoloured it a bit. It's not really clear in the photo but it is a different spin on two step stampin'

I also made a little matching Fancy Favour box that could be used as Wedding Favours.
These are cards that i am offering for my Smooch Spritz and Shimmer card in March. The class is full but if you are interested i am be running another class.
This is a slightly stepped up version of one of the cards i designed for the Wheelie Big Fundraiser for Alyssa McCartney, which was held on Saturday. It was a great day and thanks to everyone who came, participated or donated items.

I was recently asked to bring along some samples to a workshop that could be used for Wedding invitations. I was asked to try to incorporate the colours of the Jacaranda flower. These were some quick ideas i came up with.

It was my anniversary recently and this is the card i made for my husband.
This is a card i made for my Hostess Appreciation Night last year. I really like this card and love the colour scheme which i have been using alot. The Presto Patterns DSP is brayered and is only available until the end of March!!!
