The Tadah Card

At the Stampin' Up! Convention Bonnie Thurber demonstrated an amazing Tadah card. It was awesome. I had to come straight home and make it.... however it was not quite as easy as it looked on stage!!!!
It was still alot of fun though and was made quicker for me through using some of the Celebrations Quick Accents.
Tyson has seen this card and told me that is the card he wants for his 5th Birthday coming up!

Embossed Material Butterflies

I'm sure i have told you that one of my 'must have' purchases after convention was the BigZ Butterfly die. A 'wow' that fellow demonstrator Vanessa Webb did up on stage was using butterflies, embossing and material.
This is a card i came up with for stamp club. We die cut the butterflies and then embossed them with the Perfect Polka Dot embossing folder.

One of the ladies placed the butterflies differently and i liked it so she let me share the photo with you. Thanks Suzanne!

Hypercolour Extreme Guitar

I wanted to try something different with the emboss resist technique so i inked up a peice of whisper white card stock with 3 different coloured inks by swiping them across the card. I used the Extreme Guitar stamp which i have liked for a long time but have just purchased.
What do you think?

Some scrapbooking

This time at stamp club i have challenged the ladies to a scrapbooking challenge so i thought i would share with you some scrapbooking that i have been doing lately.
This is a layout from Tyson's pirate party last year.

The second layout is from his first game of soccer with the Kellyville Kolts

And the 3rd layout is a quickie using the Christmas Cheer Simply Scrappin' Kit. It is of Tyson's first christmas. This was a couple of years before i was a demo, hence i hadn't scrapped it! Hard to believe that was almost 5 years ago now and my little man is off to school next year!
I can't wait to see what my stamp club ladies come up with for the challenge!

Owl Punch Monster

I held my 2nd owl punch class last night and this was one of the cards we made. I first made my little monster but i "really" struggled with a card to put him on. That is when Jayne hosted an Inklings Creative Challenge. The challenge was to use a layout on one of the first pages of the Autumn Winter Mini catalogue and this was what i cam up with. I was pretty happy with the result and the card will be perfect for yet another party my son is attending!

This is a card i made for a lovely lady who's birthday it was recently (Hi Suzanne!). It was difficult for me because i knew the layout i wanted but i wanted to make it bright because that is what Suzanne likes.
