The petal cone die is certainly one that gets a work out around here!

Santa's Suits

I had a Christmas Display as part of my Christmas in July on the weekend. I had lots of fun making these different Santa Suits to display. I saw different one's on alot of different blogs last year. They are really easy to make which makes it even better. This first one is a card which i will be making as a class at the Rouse Hill Anglican College Hills Harvest on the 18th August, along with the Pillow Box below.

Won't this little pillow box and cutlery holder look gorgeous as a setting on Christmas Day?

And lastly a chocolate slider box which all the guest got to make on sunday.
Now i have to run and get ready for work. Afternoon shift blerghhh.

Pinterest Tree

Hi people. I'm sorry that i have not been posting as regularly as i should. I have had trouble finding the time not only to post on my blog but get decent photographs of all i have been making. Rest assure i have been making things and i will get them up here sometime. I had my Christmas in July yesterday, which was alot of fun. We played Bingo with the Jolly Bingo Bits set as well as having a guessing competition for a Christmas bauble i decorated (that is another one i have yet to show you). I like to keep my projects for my guests to see first, so now that i have shared all of the Christmas in July projects with them, i can now start to share them with you.
I use Pinterest a little bit and i was inspired by a card on Pinterest to make this Christmas Tree. Hope you like!

It's another Pinwheel and yes don't fall over i have used Soft Suede. I made this card recentley to demonstrate the Simply Scored Tool. I love how the Pink Pirouette colour softens the Soft Suede. I have chosen my colours based on the colours of the Designer Series Paper. It is so easy to co-ordinate that way.

Blossom Punched Notecards

I recentley did a workshop and i wanted to show some quick and easy cards. I chose to use Stampin' Up's notecards and envelopes in Whisper White. I quickly punched the notecards with the Blossom Punch (available in the Autumn Winter Mini Catalogue) and placed some of the gorgeous Twitterpatted Designer Series Paper behind it. I then decorated with a few punched flowers and a greeting from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments set and stamped the envelope to match using Mixed Bunch. They turned out great and the ladies were all very impressed.

Ink: Island Indigo

Christmas Flip Card

Well It is July! So i'm going to be sharing a few Christmas projects with you for Christmas In July! You might think that it is such a long time till Christmas, but the truth is if you start thinking about it now and start getting organised you will actually be able to enjoy Christmas rather than stressing about everything at the last minute!
This card gives just a little bit of a twist for something different. I have used the Labels Collection Framelits to decorate the front of the card but have also used it on the Letters to Santa Designer Series Paper on the front to match the stamped design. I have used the simple Contempo Christmas stamp set for decoration.

Mixed Bunch Butterfly

This card was inspired by the very talented Teresa Debrowski who presented at Convention 2012. We made it at my flower class last week and i have to admit it was my favourite. The butterfly itself is actually embossed with a flower from the Mixed Bunch stamp set and cut out with the Blossom Punch. My favourite part of the card is the very effective masking and shading made using the Lace Ribbon Border Punch.

Stamp Sets:  Mixed Bunch, Pocket Silhouettes
Ink: Elegant Eggplant, Concord Crush, Wisteria Wonder. Rich Razzleberry
Accessories:  Embossing Buddy, Versamark, Heat Tool, Silver Embossing Powder, Lace Ribbon Border Punch, Blossom Punch, Stampin' Sponge, Dimensionals, Paper Snips, Self Adhesive Rhinestones
