Daydream Medallion Make and Take and Swap

This is one of the cards (the one on the right) that the ladies at my launch tonight will make. It is a card made with the Daydream Medallion set and the brand new Itty Bitty Banners set and framelits. What do you think? I also made this card for the Inklings New Catalogue Swap. I made the white card originally but i thought it needed a base so i went for the gorgeous new in colour Midnight Muse. Which do you like better?

Alyssa's 4th Birthday Layout and more sneak peaks!

I have been working on this page for a while (hence the retired paper) but i had a bit of trouble with it and not alot of time to work it out. I finished it the other day and i did use a few new products that i wanted to show you.

 Can you see the new product here. It is the Window Frame Framelits that i have used for journalling. The other really cool thing is the row of flowers i created. This is a technique that was shown at convention by the very talented Sarah Klass using the Island Floral Big Shot die.

And what else do we have? The gorgeous Flourish Designer Frames which are so elegant! I have also used the 7/8" Cotton Ribbon which is so fun. You can colour it or stamp on it to co ordinate it with your project. I have coloured it with and ink pad and used a Sticky Round to make a rosette.

And then i have used some retiring product .... sigh. The Simple Numbers BigZ dies are well worth the investment ladies, believe me i use them a alot.

Sneak Peak Week!!!

This week i'm going to be giving you a few sneak peaks from the new catalogue. I have really had my mojo going and i have been creating like crazy. I'm happy with the things i have come up with and really thrilled to show people at my launch this friday night.
Today i am going to show you a simple note book that i have covered using the gorgeous Summer Smooches Designer Series Paper. This paper is so bright and vibrant, it really screams warmer weather and i am super excited that the weather is beginning to warm up. I am much more a summer person than a winter one.
This project also features the gorgeous Window Frames Collection Framelits which are just so nice and i have finally succumbed and purchase Field Flowers which i have admired for a long time. Thanks to Stampin' Up! for my sweet birthday discount i got it even cheaper than normal.

Welcome Christmas Box and a New Catalogue Sneak Peak

 

 Welcome Christmas is retiring in just a little over a week. It is a really beautiful set and if you haven't taken advantage of the special that is on at the moment you really should consider it. This is a box that we made at Christmas in July last month. The inside of the box has 4 little compartments for some goodies come Christmas time.

 

We also made Christmas stocking gift card holders at Christmas in July. And the good news is that this stocking is available in the New 2011-2012 Stampin' Up! catalogue. Cool huh? It will definately be on a few people's "must have" list.

First Day of School Scrapbook Page

There is so much scrapbooking that i really want to get done, i am just not getting there at the moment. I think life will start to slow down in October, just in time for the Christmas rush!!! LOL
This is one layout i did finish recentely. It was an important one, with my son's first day of school this year.

There are a few retiring items on this page, the Timeless Type Alphabet Sizzlets and the Simple Numbers BigZ dies. Two products i absolutely love and am holding on to myself. Lego Birthday Cake Card

Well it's my big week. Birthday week in our household and as i type this post i am completely exhausted with 2 big days ahead of me!
It is my son's 6th Birthday today and i made him a lego card. I know he will like it because he is always very appreciative of my cards. He is a crafty little thing himslef.

I have used a Sneek Peak here in this card. Can you spot it?

Goodbye Party this Way

Now this is a set i really did get alot of use out of. This is a card i made for a recent Stamp-A-Stack. It is a good one because it can be for a boy or a girl. I have used the Under the Big Top Designer Series Paper which is now on special in the Retirement List. I have also used the Scallop Trim Border Punch. It's a really straight forward card. Hope you like it!
